what is a 6 week challenge

Beginning your running journey can be a challenge! Getting through the first 4-6 weeks can require a little help - that’s where our 6 Week Challenge comes in.

If you are a running beginner or you are wanting to get back to being a regular confident runner, this is perfect for you! With the motivation of an achievable run goal, accredited coach, structured training program and a supportive small group environment, you can cross the finish line of a 5km or 10km event!


what is included in the challenge

  • Initial run assessment from our supportive running coach

  • Personalised training plan

  • Access to all Bayside Run Coaching group sessions across the bayside area over the 6 week period - these are a mix of technique, strength, pacing and slightly longer runs to help you prepare.

  • Support leading up to and on the day of the event

  • Lots of advice, laughs and motivation

  • Very cool ‘Team Bayside’ running cap


how much does the 6 week challenge cost

The 6 Week Challenge is $179.

You get everything listed above (this does not include the entry fee for the target event).
